In the aquarium they all want the same thing: a shaded position, something solid to grip and stable tropical water. They grow perfectly well fully submerged.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eAppearance\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eThick, leathery dark-green leaves on a creeping rhizome. As a small portion this is a compact young plant; depending on the variety supplied, a mature specimen may reach anywhere from about 5 to 15 cm tall.
