It lives in shoals in the upper layers, picking tiny invertebrates from the surface and plants. A planted, gently filtered tank recreates its home well.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003ch2\u003eAppearance\u003c\/h2\u003e \u003cp\u003eA slender, semi-transparent little fish highlighted by brilliant blue eyes and delicate yellow-and-black edged fins. Males are more colourful and display to one another with fins spread wide, a charming feature of a settled group. Gentle filtration, dense planting and pristine water are essential, as this little fish is sensitive to poor quality.
