That means it builds a hard limestone skeleton and has big, fleshy polyps. Its puffy tubular tentacles end in T-shaped or anchor-shaped tips, which is where the common name comes from, and they stay out day and night. This is a wall type, so the skeleton grows as one continuous, winding wall rather than as separate branching heads.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eWhere It Comes From\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eWild colonies grow on coral reefs across the tropical Indo-West Pacific, from the Maldives to the Solomon Islands, and are especially common around Indonesia.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eCare in Your Tank\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003ePlace it in the middle of the rockwork under moderate light, around 100 to 150 PAR (PAR measures the light a coral can actually use), with moderate, alternating flow that moves the tentacles without tearing at them.
