Replace the foam once it's compacted, torn or won't rinse clean. Renew BioMax gradually rather than all at once, so the filter keeps an established bacterial colony while the new media matures.

Goes well with

Pair with the Fluval EDGE Pre-Filter Sponge, which sits ahead of this media and protects it — and the impeller — from larger debris and fry.

Warranty and delivery

Covered against manufacturing defects in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
