In the aquarium it appreciates live rock for shelter, open swimming space and moderate flow, and settles well into a peaceful community.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eAppearance\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eFemales and sub-adults show a warm orange to red body marked with delicate purple to lavender horizontal lines, more understated than the flamboyant males but still very attractive. It is a slender, fast-moving wrasse.
