AA01 should be placed low in the tank accordingly - on the sand or a shaded ledge - with only gentle flow, never in a bright, high-flow spot.

Appearance

The polyp is large, flat and disc-shaped, occasionally developing more than one mouth over time, and inflates into a soft, fleshy dome. Colouring spans deep red, orange and green, often combining into the multi-tone "rainbow" and "bloodshot" patterns that make the species so desirable. A fully, evenly inflated AA01 is a healthy one; a gaping mouth suggests otherwise.

https://nicksaquariumoceanariumterrarium.com.au/products/scolymia-australis-aa01-homophyllia-australis
