It presents as a single, large, jewel-like polyp with striking red, orange and rainbow colouration.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eAppearance\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe polyp itself is large, flat and disc-shaped (occasionally developing extra mouths with age) and swells into a soft, fleshy dome under favourable conditions. Colour is where AA012 shines: deep reds, oranges and greens blending into multi-tone \"rainbow\" and \"bloodshot\" patterns.
