That means it builds a hard limestone skeleton and has big, fleshy polyps. It grows as separate heads, each on its own stalk, and every head carries long, flowing tubular tentacles with rounded, knob-like tips that sway in the current like flames on a torch.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eWhere It Comes From\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eWild colonies are found right across the Indo-Pacific, from the Red Sea and Indian Ocean through South East Asia to Japan and the Pacific islands, living in a wide range of reef habitats from about 1 to 35 metres deep.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eCare in Your Tank\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003ePlace it in the middle of the rockwork under moderate light, around 100 to 150 PAR (PAR measures the light a coral can actually use), with moderate, alternating flow that keeps the tentacles moving without bending them flat.
