For species with a narrow temperature tolerance, we'd suggest pairing it with a digital probe thermometer for a precise check.

Where should I mount it?

Zoo Med doesn't specify a mounting method for this model. Position it away from direct heat sources such as basking bulbs so it reads ambient conditions rather than the heat source itself.

What's the difference between this and Zoo Med's other dual gauges?

Zoo Med also sells a hook-and-loop mounted dual gauge with a different temperature range. Check your model's range against your enclosure's needs before buying spares.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0972/7236/5347/files/zoo-med-dual-thermometer-hum-43180140822819.webp?v=1790235223
