Rasboras

Rasboras are peaceful, small and undemanding, which makes them one of the best choices for a planted community or nano tank. The harlequin rasbora is the classic, with a copper body and a black triangle, and espei and hengeli are the slimmer, warmer coloured relatives.

We also carry dwarf species such as the maculata rasbora and neon green rasbora, which stay under three centimetres, along with brilliant, redline, red tail, Sarawak, emerald eye and scissortail rasboras.

They suit soft, slightly acidic water and look their best over a dark substrate with plants and driftwood, which brings out colours that wash out over bright gravel. Keep them in groups of eight or more. See shipping and delivery.
