Australian burrowing scorpions from the Urodacus group, listed as sexed individuals so you can pair them or keep them singly with confidence. We stock the desert scorpion, large Flinders scorpion, Nova scorpion and sand scorpion.

These are long lived, low maintenance invertebrates that spend most of their time in a burrow. What matters in the setup is depth of substrate rather than floor space, since they dig scrapes and burrows and will not settle in a shallow enclosure. A heat mat on one side, a water dish and a hide covers the rest.

All scorpions are venomous. Australian Urodacus species are not regarded as dangerous to healthy adults, but a sting is painful and reactions vary, so they are an animal to observe rather than handle. See Complete the setup for enclosure gear.
