Fish Food

Feeding a marine tank well is the difference between fish that survive and fish that colour up and behave naturally. The range covers Ocean Nutrition marine formulas, Hikari pellets and wafers, dried seaweed sheets for tangs, rabbitfish and other grazers, and small particle coral foods for filter feeding species such as sun coral and gorgonians.

Variety matters more than any single food. Most marine fish do better on a rotation of pellet, frozen and vegetable matter than on one product every day, and grazing species need something available between meals.

Feed small amounts more often rather than one large feed. Uneaten food breaks down into nitrate and phosphate, which is where most nuisance algae problems start.
