Puffers

Puffers are the closest thing to a pet in a marine tank. They recognise their keeper, they beg at the glass, and they show more visible intelligence than anything else in the shop. We stock the smaller tobies of the Canthigaster group, including valentini, leopard, honeycomb and peacock, along with larger species such as the dogface puffer and the long spine porcupinefish.

They are not reef safe. Puffers have beaks that grow continuously and need hard shelled food such as snails, mussel and prawn to wear them down, which is also why they will make short work of your clean up crew, shrimp and corals.
