Fish for keepers who want something other than a community tank. The oddball side takes in bichirs, black and golden ghost knifefish, elephantnose, African butterfly fish, freshwater stingrays, archerfish, freshwater moray eels and spiny eels.

The Australian native side is one we take seriously as a Queensland store. Barramundi, Murray cod, sleepy cod, Australian bass, golden and silver perch, saratoga, mangrove jack, grunters, gudgeons and native gobies are species we can talk about from local experience rather than from a book.

Most of this list grows large and many are predatory, so size the tank for the adult fish rather than the juvenile.
