Two of the busiest families on the reef, and the fish most people build a marine tank around. Our tang and surgeonfish range takes in blue tang, naso, scopas, bariene, achilles and unicorn species, while the wrasse side runs from fairy and flasher wrasse through to leopard wrasse, hogfish, cleaner wrasse and goatfish.

Tangs are grazers and need swimming room and something to pick at all day, which is why dried seaweed is a staple for them. Most want a larger tank than their size at purchase suggests. Wrasse are generally reef safe but many are sand sleepers, so a fine sand bed matters, and a tight fitting lid matters more, since flasher and fairy wrasse are notorious jumpers.

Every listing shows whether the fish is captive bred, Australian collected or imported. Live fish travel by air freight, which is the only method covered by our Arrive Alive Guarantee. See shipping and delivery for dispatch days, airport pickup and the rules for Western Australia and Tasmania.
