The clean up crew of a freshwater tank, and characterful fish in their own right. Corydoras are the most useful small catfish going, working the substrate in groups, and we carry a long list including bronze, panda, sterbai, julii, pygmy and albino forms. Bristlenose and L number plecos handle algae and driftwood duty, from common bristlenose up to L333, L340 and cactus plecos.

Loaches including clown, kuhli and dwarf chain, plus algae eaters and freshwater sharks such as the red tail black and rainbow shark, round out the group.

Two things worth knowing. Corydoras need smooth sand or rounded gravel, since sharp substrate damages the barbels they feed with, and they should be kept in groups of six or more. Most plecos need driftwood to rasp on as part of their diet. See shipping and delivery.
