Reefalicious

Reefalicious is an Australian live foods brand, and live is the key word: the phytoplankton, copepods, rotifers and zooplankton here come as living cultures in the bottle rather than frozen or dried. Phytoplankton is dosed daily to feed filter feeders such as clams, feather dusters and some corals, and to feed the copepods already in your tank. Copepods go into the sump or display and breed there, which helps keep mandarins and other pod eaters fed. Rotifers are small enough for newly hatched fry, and the mixed zooplankton adds a spread of tiny life to a new or established reef. Alongside them sit Live Bacteria for cycling, F2 Starter for anyone culturing their own phytoplankton, and Fish Protect capsules.

Live cultures keep for a short time, so refrigerate them and use them promptly rather than stockpiling. Rotifers in particular should be used within about three days.
