Rainforest dragons from the Lophosaurus group, a very different animal to the bearded dragon most people picture. We stock Boyd's dragon and the southern angle headed dragon.

These are arboreal, sitting vertically on trunks and branches rather than basking on the ground, and they come from cool, humid rainforest rather than desert. That changes the setup completely. They need a tall planted enclosure, regular misting for humidity, moderate temperatures and vertical climbing structure, and they do far better watched than handled.

They are a keeper's animal rather than a beginner's pet, but few Australian lizards look as prehistoric. Bearded dragons are listed separately under Bearded Dragons.

A reptile licence is required in Queensland and most other states. See our purchasing policy.
