Substrates run from inert gravels and sands through to nutrient rich aquasoils for planted tanks, from Bioscape, CaribSea and Seachem. Hardware covers tubing, fittings, magnets, nets, tools and the small parts that hold a setup together.
Driftwood releases tannins that tint the water tea coloured. That is harmless and many soft water species prefer it, but soaking the wood first reduces it if you want clear water.
