Habistat

HabiStat makes reptile heating and the thermostats to control it, and the HabiStat Heat Mat is its gentlest heat source. It gives off ultra long wavelength infrared, which warms the surface it touches rather than the air, much as sun warmed ground does, so an animal resting over it gets the belly heat that snakes and nocturnal geckos look for. We carry three sizes: 4 watt (10.2 by 12.7 centimetres), 7 watt (15 by 28) and 12 watt (28 by 28). Fit it under or beside the enclosure at one end only, so the animal can move off the warmth when it has had enough.

A heat mat must run through a thermostat, never straight from the wall, since an unregulated mat can get hot enough to burn. Our thermostats are here.
