Good reptile decor is about security first and looks second. An animal that cannot get out of sight stays stressed no matter how good the heating is, so every enclosure wants a hide at the warm end and another at the cool end. Exo Terra covers caves, rock outcrops, skulls, dinosaur eggs and rock backgrounds cut to fit its terrariums; Eco Tech supplies hanging ficus and abutilon, corkscrew and twisted vines, and moulded canyon, stone and mangrove backgrounds; Zoo Med adds half log huts, cholla branches, artificial bromeliads and ferns, hammocks and floating turtle docks. Moss mats, jungle vines and cacti fill in the rest.

Climbing species such as carpet pythons and tree dwelling geckos use height more than floor space, so build upwards with vines and branches. Everything here ships from our Brisbane store to anywhere in Australia.
