Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for freshwater aquariums, in a filter with room for loose media or a media bag. API lists it for freshwater only, so it is not suitable for marine or reef aquariums. It removes ammonia but does not replace regular water changes or a properly cycled filter, so keep testing your water while you use it.
