Suitable for: weighing additives, supplements, medications, phosphate remover, biopellets, filter media and dry food before dosing – anywhere a "scoop" measurement isn't precise enough, especially with concentrated modern reef products.
Not suitable for: measuring liquid volumes directly – use a dosing pipette or measuring cylinder for liquids; the AquaSpoon weighs solids and powders.
Care and maintenance
- Wipe the spoon tray dry after each use – this is a digital instrument, not a dishwasher-safe scoop.
- Keep splashes away from the electronics end in the handle.
- Store somewhere dry between uses to protect the scale mechanism.
