Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for freshwater aquariums. Because it contains copper, it is not suitable for shrimp and other invertebrates, and it is not suitable for sensitive fish such as some catfish and loaches. Not for marine or reef aquariums.
Care
Keep the pH (how acidic or alkaline the water is) at 7.5 or above, as copper is more toxic at low pH. Raising the temperature by 2 to 3°C helps the treatment work. Remove activated carbon from the filter while treating, and a copper test kit lets you check the level in the tank.
