Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable as a heat source for reptiles that need warmth into the evening, or as a daytime heat lamp where bright light is not wanted. It gives no UVB, so reptiles that need UVB still need a separate UVB lamp. It is not a light source for the day cycle.
Safety
Always run it on a thermostat. Use a lamp guard so animals cannot touch the hot lamp. Switch it off and let it cool before cleaning, and wipe it only with a dry cloth.
