Bioscape In/Out Canister Pipe Assemblies w/Suction Cups 1800/2200
This is the full inlet and outlet pipe kit for the Bioscape Tropic 1800 and 2200 canister filters. If the strainer has cracked, the spray bar has gone brittle, or the suction cups no longer grip the glass, this replaces the whole above-tank plumbing in one kit rather than chasing down individual pieces.

Which pipe kit do I need?
This kit suits the Tropic 1800 and 2200/2200 UV, which both run 16mm hose. Bioscape's smaller Tropic 800 and 1200 canister filters use a separate, smaller pipe assembly with fewer suction cups and a shorter spray bar – check your filter's model number before ordering, as the two kits aren't interchangeable.
Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for a Bioscape Tropic 1800, 2200 or 2200 UV canister filter with damaged, brittle or missing pipework, a clogged strainer, or suction cups that no longer hold. Not suitable for the Tropic 800/1200 range or for other brands' canister filters, which use different fittings.

Common questions
Will this fit my Tropic 800 or 1200 filter?
No. The 800/1200 range uses a separate, smaller pipe assembly with fewer suction cups and a shorter spray bar.
Can I buy just the spray bar or the strainer separately?
Bioscape sells individual spray bars and strainers for this filter range as separate spare parts, so you don't need to replace the whole kit if only one piece has failed.
Why does the kit include six suction cups?
Six is enough to securely mount both the inlet strainer and the full 3-piece spray bar on tanks at the larger end of the 1800/2200 range.
