Bioscape Moss Terrarium Square
A crystal-clear glass cube built for moss, not fish. The Bioscape Moss Terrarium Square is a 6 mm ultra-clear glass enclosure sold with its own plant-growth LED and adjustable ventilation lid, made for moss gardens, nano planted layouts and tropical micro-landscapes rather than full aquatic fishkeeping. It comes in two sizes – the 220 Square and the larger 270 Square.

What's included / Not included
Included: the glass terrarium, and the fitted plant-growth LED light with adjustable ventilation lid.
Not included: substrate, hardscape, moss or plants, a stand, a filter, or a heater. This is a display enclosure with lighting, not a filtered or heated aquatic system – add filtration and heating separately if you plan to keep fish or other livestock that need them.

Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for moss gardens, nano aquascapes, tropical micro-landscapes and paludarium-style displays where a grow light and humidity control matter more than filtration. Not suitable as a stocked, filtered fish tank straight out of the box – there's no filter or heater included, and no rated litre capacity to size livestock against.
Care and maintenance
Wipe condensation from the inside of the lid rather than leaving it to pool near the LED housing, and adjust the ventilation vents to manage humidity as moss establishes. Bioscape doesn't publish a bulb replacement interval for the fitted LED.
Warranty and delivery
Covered against manufacturing defects under Bioscape's warranty, in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Glass items ship with additional packaging; freight cost and handling vary by size.
Common questions
What's the litre capacity?
Bioscape doesn't publish a rated litre capacity or internal dimensions for either size of the Moss Terrarium Square. Only external dimensions are confirmed: 22 × 22 × 41 cm for the 220, 27 × 27 × 45 cm for the 270.
Does it come with a filter or heater?
No. Both sizes include the glass terrarium and the fitted grow light only. A filter and heater are separate purchases if you're keeping livestock that need them.
Can I keep fish in it?
It's built and sold as a moss and planted display enclosure, not a rated fish tank. If you want to stock it, add filtration and heating suited to what you plan to keep, and stock conservatively given the unconfirmed volume.
What powers the light?
The fitted LED runs from a USB-style adapter – replacement adapters and a replacement light/lid unit are sold separately for the 220 Square.
Is the 270 Square just a bigger 220 Square?
Yes – same 6 mm ultra-clear glass, square-cube styling and ventilated LED lid, just a larger footprint and a stronger 10 W light to match.
