Eco Tech Incubator
Stable conditions from lay to hatch. The Eco Tech Incubator is a thermostat-controlled benchtop unit that holds a steady, programmable temperature for reptile and bird eggs across the weeks or months of incubation, where even small fluctuations can affect hatch rates. An 80 W heating element and circulating fan keep heat even throughout the chamber, and the digital display tracks both temperature and humidity as you go.
Key features
- 80 W heating element – heats the chamber across a stated range of 15–40°C.
- Circulating fan – distributes heat evenly through the chamber instead of leaving hot and cold spots.
- Digital temperature and humidity display – read chamber conditions at a glance without opening the lid.
- Programmable temperature alarms – alerts you if the chamber drifts outside your set range.
- Countdown display – track how many days are left before an expected hatch.

Suitable for, and not suitable for
- Suitable for: incubating reptile and bird eggs at a steady, thermostat-controlled temperature on a benchtop.
- Not suitable for: cooling eggs below room temperature – this unit heats only and cannot bring the chamber below ambient.
Safety
This is a mains-powered heating appliance. Run it on standard 240 V / 50 Hz AU household power, keep it out of direct sun and away from draughts, and don't rely on the unit's own display alone – verify the chamber temperature with a separate min/max thermometer before setting eggs, and periodically after.
Care and maintenance
Use an incubation medium such as vermiculite in your egg containers to help buffer humidity, and check the incubation tub and medium periodically through the incubation period rather than leaving it unattended for weeks at a time.
Goes well with
- Eco Tech Incubation Tub – a 35 × 25 × 11 cm tub sized to sit inside this incubator, holding up to 98 small eggs.
- A separate min/max thermometer, to verify the chamber is holding the temperature it displays.
Warranty and delivery
Eco Tech backs this incubator with a 12-month warranty against manufacturing faults, in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. As an electrical appliance it ships in its original packaging – keep this until you're confident the unit is working as expected.
Common questions
Does it cool as well as heat?
No. This is a heating-only incubator with no cooling function, so the chamber can't be brought below room temperature.
Can I trust the built-in display, or do I need a separate thermometer?
Verify the chamber with a separate min/max thermometer before setting eggs, and periodically through incubation. This checks the unit is holding true rather than relying on the display alone.
Does it show humidity as well as temperature?
Yes, the digital display shows both chamber temperature and humidity.
What do I put the eggs in inside the incubator?
Eggs typically sit in an incubation tub, such as the Eco Tech Incubation Tub, bedded into an incubation medium like vermiculite to help hold humidity around them.
