Exo Terra Light Bracket Adhesive Support Base
A permanent, glass-safe mounting point for the Exo Terra Light Bracket. The Light Bracket Adhesive Support Base (PT2229) is the replacement adhesive pad that sticks to your terrarium and gives the Light Bracket somewhere secure to clamp onto – order it if your original pad has failed or you're setting up a new mounting point.

Setting it up
Clean and dry the glass before fitting, then press the base firmly in place. Leave it for 24 hours to let the adhesive cure properly before clamping the Light Bracket and hanging a dome or wire fixture from it. Choose the position carefully – once bonded, the base can't be repositioned.
Suitable for, and not suitable for
- Suitable for mounting the Exo Terra Light Bracket to glass terrarium walls.
- Not suitable for repositioning once bonded – plan the mounting height before you fit it.

How long before I can hang the bracket and fixture?
Wait 24 hours after fitting the base for the adhesive to cure properly before loading it with the bracket and a light fixture.
Can I move it once it's stuck down?
No. The bond is permanent – decide on your mounting position before you press it into place.
Does it fit brackets from other brands?
It's made for the Exo Terra Light Bracket (PT2223). We can't confirm fit with other manufacturers' fixtures.
