Exo Terra Repti Clear Internal Filter 250 Impeller Fan

When a Repti Clear 250 keeps running but water stops moving through the spouts, a worn impeller fan is the usual cause. This genuine Exo Terra spare replaces just the fan, restoring the filter's flow without buying a new unit.

Key features
  • Genuine Exo Terra part – matches the original impeller fan exactly, so it sits and spins correctly in the housing.
  • Restores water movement – fixes a filter that hums and runs but pushes little or no water out of the spouts.
  • Simple hand-fit replacement – no tools needed to access the impeller housing.
Specifications
Spec Detail
Part number RP195C
Fits Exo Terra Repti Clear F250 internal filter (Art. PT-3610) only
Sold as Single impeller fan
Will it fit my filter?

Sized for the Repti Clear F250 impeller housing only. It does not fit the F150 or F350 – the F350 uses its own impeller assembly, with the shaft sold separately as RP196D.

What it doesn't fix

If the shaft the fan sits on has worn or snapped rather than the fan blades themselves, replace the impeller assembly shaft (RP195E) instead – the two parts wear independently.

Warranty and delivery

Covered by Exo Terra's standard spare parts warranty against manufacturing defects. Sent from Brisbane / North Lakes, standard parcel delivery Australia-wide.

Common questions

How do I know the fan needs replacing?

Cracked, chipped or algae-fouled fan blades are usually visible once the impeller cover is off. A fan in this state spins with a rattle, or won't spin freely, and flow through the spouts drops noticeably even though the motor still runs.

Is this the same part as the shaft?

No. The fan is the finned rotor that pushes water; the shaft (RP195E) is what the fan spins on. They wear independently and either can fail first.

Will this fit my Repti Clear F350?

No – the F350 takes its own impeller assembly parts.
