Replace the Accent's cartridge monthly and the filter keeps pulling its weight. This four-pack supplies four genuine Fluval Fresh & Clear cartridges for the Fluval Accent 25 US Gal / 95 L aquarium kit (model 15281). Each cartridge combines a mechanical pad with activated carbon, trapping debris while pulling out the odours, discolouration and dissolved toxins that a pad alone leaves behind. Slotting a fresh cartridge in is the single biggest thing you can do for water clarity between full maintenance sessions.

This cartridge is sized specifically for the Fluval Accent's built-in filter module – it is not a universal cartridge and won't fit other Fluval ranges such as the Fluval U-series, Spec or Flex. Check your aquarium is the Accent 25 US Gal / 95 L kit before ordering.

Suitable for freshwater and marine Fluval Accent set-ups needing routine monthly filter maintenance. Not a substitute for the biological media inside the filter module – this cartridge handles mechanical and chemical filtration only, it does not replace the tank's biological bacteria colony.
Care and maintenance
Rinse loose debris from the outside of the cartridge before fitting. Activated carbon exhausts its capacity well before it looks dirty, so change on the monthly schedule rather than waiting for visible fouling – a spent cartridge can start releasing back what it has already absorbed.
