Fluval C Filter - 06/07 Aquastop Seal Ring 1 Pack
The genuine sealing ring for the AquaStop valve on Fluval 06 series canisters and C series hang-on filters. This is Fluval's factory replacement seal (manufacturer part A-20288) for the AquaStop shut-off valve fitted to the 106, 206, 306 and 406 canister filters, and for the equivalent hang-on fitting on the C2, C3 and C4 power filters. It's the part to replace when the AquaStop connection weeps or won't seat cleanly during maintenance.

Will it fit my filter?
This ring fits the AquaStop valve on the Fluval 06 series canister filters – 106, 206, 306 and 406 – and the equivalent connection on the C2, C3 and C4 hang-on power filters. It does not fit the 07 series canisters (107, 207, 307, 407): those use a different AquaStop valve assembly, sold whole as a separate part rather than as a replaceable seal ring.
Compatibility, spares and supersession
If you're not sure which series your filter belongs to, check the model number printed on the canister or filter housing rather than going by “old” or “new” – Fluval has sold the 06 and 07 series alongside each other for years. For the 07 series AquaStop valve, you need the complete valve assembly rather than this ring.

This is the seal ring only. The AquaStop valve body, hose-lock nuts and connector hose are separate parts.

How do I know if this is the part I need?
If your filter is a 106, 206, 306, 406 canister or a C2, C3 or C4 hang-on filter and the AquaStop connection is weeping, this ring is the fix. If it's a 107, 207, 307 or 407, you need the 07 series AquaStop valve instead.
Can I use this on the 07 series in a pinch?
No – the 07 series uses a differently sized AquaStop valve, and Fluval doesn't sell this ring as a fit for it.
Do I need any tools to fit it?
No special tools – you only need whatever you'd normally use to detach and reseat the AquaStop connection during a filter service.
