This is the genuine Fluval replacement remote for the FLEX all-in-one aquarium range, matched to the infrared receiver built into the tank's hood. It reproduces the original unit's button layout, so every lighting mode you had at setup – including the cloud, storm and lightning effects – works exactly as it did on day one.

This remote is built for the Flex range only, and only two sizes of it. Check your tank against the table before ordering – it will not pair with any other Fluval light.

Suitable for, and not suitable for
- Suitable for a lost, dropped or water-damaged remote on a Flex 34 L or Flex 57 L kit.
- Not suitable for the Flex hood itself, the LED light module, or any other Fluval all-in-one aquarium – those need a different part.

Common questions
Will this remote work with the Flex 123 L or older SHRIMP models?
No. It is built only for the 34 L and 57 L Flex kits. Larger Flex tanks and other Fluval ranges use different receivers.
Do I need to re-pair anything after fitting the new remote?
No pairing step is required. The remote talks to the receiver already built into the hood, the same way the original one did.
What if my remote works but some buttons don't respond?
That's usually a receiver fault in the hood rather than the remote – replacing the remote won't fix it. Contact us if you're not sure which part you need.
