Fluval FX4/FX5/FX6 Giant AquaStop Valve
Genuine Fluval AquaStop valve for FX series canister filters. Fluval part A20216 is the valve that connects the intake or output hose to the filter lid. Turn it to the closed position and you can disconnect the hose for a service, then click it back onto the lid connector when you are done.

Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for replacing a cracked, stiff or leaking AquaStop valve on an FX2, FX4, FX5 or FX6. Each filter has two, one for the IN (intake) hose and one for the OUT (output) hose, so order two if both need replacing. Not made for the 06 or 07 series or G series filters, which use their own valves.
Care
Fluval's FX manual says to turn the IN and OUT valves to the closed (horizontal) position before disconnecting them, and to press them back onto the lid connectors until they click into place.
