Fluval Pre Filter Noodles 750gm

• Catches solid waste before it reaches the finer media.
• Helps finer media last longer, so it needs replacing less often.
• Suited to medium and coarse filtration, the first stages water passes through.

• Fluval item number: A1470
• Pack: 750 g
• Type: mechanical pre-filter media
• Use: canister filters

Suitable for canister filters on freshwater and marine aquariums; Fluval lists it for all canister filters. It is not a replacement for biological media (the material the helpful bacteria live on), which does a different job further along the filter.

Rinse the media before you first put it in, to wash off fine dust and let trapped air out; Fluval advises this for all filter media. After that, rinse it when you service your filter so trapped waste does not slow the flow.
