Suitable for the SP2 only. It is a different part from the SP2's impeller cover (Fluval part A20322), which is sold separately.

Fluval says to unplug everything in the aquarium before handling equipment in the water, and to unplug the pump if the RCD (residual current device, the safety switch that cuts power when it detects a leak to earth) trips. Handle the shaft with care: Fluval warns that dropping it or pressing too hard can cause hairline fractures that make it snap in use.
