The genuine return pipe for a Red Sea Reefer 250 G2 or 350 G2 – despite the model name on the box, this is the G2-specific part. This pipe carries filtered water from the sump return pump back up into the display. It's Red Sea's own replacement (R42213G2) for the G2 generation.

Will it fit my tank?
This part fits the Reefer 250 G2 and Reefer 350 G2. It is not interchangeable with the original (pre-G2) Reefer 250, 250 V3, 250 V3A, 350, 350 V3 or the Reefer XL 200, which use a different part (42213), or the Reefer 350 V3A specifically, which uses 42213A. Red Sea's G2 plumbing also uses a separate return pipe (R42232G2) for the 350 G2/425XL G2 pairing – if your 350 G2 sump has more than one return-side pipe, confirm which position needs replacing before ordering, as we can't be certain from Red Sea's published information which one is fitted on every 350 G2 configuration.
Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable as a genuine replacement return pipe for a Reefer 250 G2, and for the 250 G2-shared return position on a 350 G2. Not suitable for non-G2 Reefer tanks or the Reefer XL 200.

The part number (R42213G2) confirms it's the G2 version. An original, pre-G2 Reefer 250 or 350 needs part 42213 instead.
My 350 G2 seems to have two return-side pipes – which one is this?
This is the 250 G2/350 G2 return pipe. Red Sea's 350 G2/425XL G2 pairing uses a separate part (R42232G2) for another return position – check with us if you're not sure which one you need before ordering.
Does this fit the Reefer 300 G2?
