Red Sea ReefLED 50 Array

Genuine replacement LED array for the ReefLED 50. This is Red Sea's factory LED matrix (part R35163) for the ReefLED 50 – the light-emitting module that sits behind the lens. LEDs fade gradually rather than failing outright, so a slow drop in colour or intensity over several years of use is normally an array problem, not a driver fault.

Key features
  • Genuine Red Sea part – factory array matched to the original ReefLED 50 spectrum and PAR output.
  • Direct-fit board-level swap – no new driver, housing or mounting arm needed.
  • Restores original spectrum and intensity – corrects gradual LED fade rather than masking it with a higher dimmer setting.
Specifications
Part number R35163
Fits Red Sea ReefLED 50
Type LED array / matrix (light-emitting module)
Installation Board-level replacement
Will it fit my light?

This array is specific to the ReefLED 50. It does not fit the newer ReefLED G2 60, despite the two sharing a mounting arm – the array and driver electronics differ between the two generations.

Suitable for, and not suitable for

Suitable for a ReefLED 50 that has faded, shifted colour, or developed uneven spread after years of use, while still powering on and connecting to ReefBeat normally. Not the right part if the light won't power on, won't connect to WiFi, or behaves erratically – those symptoms point to the top or bottom electronic board rather than the array.

Warranty and delivery

Covered by Red Sea's manufacturer warranty on the replacement part, in addition to your consumer guarantee rights under Australian Consumer Law. Ships as a small parcel item.

Common questions

My ReefLED 50 has gone dim and yellow – is this the part I need?

Gradual dimming and colour shift over several years of use is the classic array-fade symptom, so yes – this is generally the fix, provided the light still powers on and connects to the app normally.

Will this fit my ReefLED G2 60?

No. The G2 60 uses its own array – this part is specific to the original ReefLED 50.

Do I need any other parts to fit this?

No – it's a direct board-level swap using the existing housing, driver and mounting hardware.
