Red Sea ReefLED 90 / G2 115 Power Supply

Restore power to a dead or flickering ReefLED. This is Red Sea's genuine replacement power supply for the ReefLED 90 and G2 115, delivering the stable DC output the light's driver board and LED array depend on. A power supply fault is one of the most common reasons a ReefLED goes completely dark, and it's also the cheapest fix — test with a known-good supply before assuming a board has failed.

Key features
  • Genuine Red Sea part — correct voltage and current rating for the light, no guesswork.
  • Universal mains input — accepts 100–240 VAC, so it runs correctly on Australian 240 V / 50 Hz supply.
  • Current revision (V2) — R35191 supersedes the earlier R35151 unit fitted to first-run ReefLED 90 fixtures.
  • Direct-fit replacement — same connector and mounting as the original.

Red Sea has not published the DC output voltage or current rating for this power supply. Ask us for the manufacturer's spec sheet if you need it for a warranty claim or third-party repair — the part number above is what matters for ordering the correct replacement.

Will it fit my light?

Fits both the original ReefLED 90 and the second-generation G2 115 — Red Sea uses the same power supply across both. It does not fit the ReefLED 50, G2 60, 160S or G2 170, which each use their own dedicated supply. An early ReefLED 90 may have shipped with the earlier R35151 unit; R35191 is the current replacement for both.

Suitable for, and not suitable for

Suitable for a ReefLED 90 or G2 115 that won't power on, flickers, or resets intermittently. Not suitable for any other ReefLED model. If the light still won't power on with a known-good supply fitted, the fault is on the driver board, not here.

Fitting

Internal component — fitting means opening the fixture housing. If you're not confident doing this yourself, we can fit it for you; ask in-store or by phone before you start.

Warranty and delivery

Covered by Red Sea's manufacturer warranty on spare parts, in addition to your consumer guarantee rights under Australian Consumer Law. Ships as a small parcel, standard delivery.

Common questions

My ReefLED 90 is old — will the current power supply still fit?

Yes. R35191 is the current-revision supply and replaces both the original R35151 unit and later production, across the ReefLED 90 and G2 115.

How do I know the power supply has failed rather than the fan or board?

A dead light with no response at all — no fan noise, no standby light — points to the power supply first. Grinding or rattling with the light still working points to the fan instead.

Will this run correctly on Australian power?

Yes — it accepts 100–240 VAC, which covers Australia's 240 V / 50 Hz mains without a converter.
