Symptom this fixes
A weeping or slow-dripping joint where the inlet hose meets the ReefMat 1200 body, usually from a hardened or perished O-ring rather than a cracked hose. If the hose itself is kinked, split or degraded, the inlet hose spare is what you want – this kit is the seals and couplers, not the hose.
What it doesn't fit
This kit is sized for the ReefMat 1200. The ReefMat 250 and 500 use different connector hardware – check with us before ordering if you're not sure which model you have.
Fitting it
Replace connector seals any time the plumbing has been disassembled – reusing an old O-ring after a hose has been off is the single most common source of a "mystery" cabinet drip. No tools beyond your hands are needed; hand-tighten the fitting until it's snug, not forced.
