Suitable for a ReefMat 500 or 1200 that has stopped advancing fleece, is unresponsive at the roller, or whose existing drive has failed outright. Not the right part for a unit that advances constantly, advances too early, or won't stop — that's usually the sensor, not the drive.

Before replacing the drive, clear the fleece path of any jam and wipe the sensor window — a jammed roll or a dirty sensor is often mistaken for drive failure and doesn't need this part.
