What's included
The box contains one Nano Dome lamp fixture only.
Not included
No bulb, globe or heat emitter is supplied, and the Zoo Med Reptile Lamp Stand used for hanging the dome is sold separately.
Suitable for
Good fit
Nano and small terrariums (around 10 US gallons / 38 litres or smaller) housing small geckos, hatchling reptiles, amphibians, tarantulas, insects and other invertebrates.
Not suitable for
Larger enclosures, or any bulb or heat emitter rated above 40 watts or outside Zoo Med's Nano range.
Safety
This is a mains-powered fixture with a ceramic socket, which resists the heat build-up that can degrade plastic sockets under high-wattage globes. Do not exceed the 40 W rating, keep the dome clear of flammable material such as bark, substrate or foliage, and allow the fixture to cool before handling or repositioning it. Always switch off and unplug before changing a bulb.
Goes well with
A Zoo Med Nano UVB bulb, Nano ceramic heat emitter or Nano halogen heat lamp, and a Zoo Med Reptile Lamp Stand if you need to hang the dome rather than rest it on a screen lid.
Warranty and delivery
Zoo Med states a 12 month manufacturer's warranty for this fixture.
