The Bioscape Mineral Airstone 25mm 3 Pack uses a mineral diffuser stone to break pump air into a fine, even bubble curtain, lifting surface agitation and oxygen exchange in freshwater and marine tanks. Because it comes three to a card, a clogged stone can be swapped out immediately rather than waiting on a reorder.

Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for adding surface agitation and gas exchange to freshwater and marine aquariums running any standard air pump. Not a substitute for mechanical or biological filtration, and not useful on its own – it needs a pump to move air through it.
Care and maintenance
Mineral airstones clog gradually as mineral deposits and biofilm build up inside the stone, and the bubble stream coarsens as that happens. Bioscape doesn't publish a fixed replacement interval – swap the stone when the bubbles turn coarse or uneven rather than on a set schedule, which is why this comes as a three-pack rather than a single stone.
Goes well with
Needs an air pump sized to your tank and how many stones or ornaments it runs, plus airline tubing to connect them. A check valve fitted in the line stops water siphoning back into the pump during a power cut, and is worth adding on any submerged airstone.

Will this work in a saltwater tank?
Yes. The mineral stone doesn't react with saltwater, so the same airstone suits freshwater and marine setups.
What tubing do I need?
Standard aquarium airline tubing, push-fit onto the stone's barb.
Do I need anything else to run it?
Yes – an air pump and airline tubing are required and not included. A check valve is recommended to protect the pump.
How do I know when to replace it?
When the bubble stream turns coarse or uneven instead of a fine mist. Fit one of the two spares on the card when that happens.
