A slimmer profile for the gaps a standard airstone won't fit. Bioscape's Slim Mineral Airstones give the same fine, even bubble curtain as the brand's standard range, in a narrower body that tucks behind hardscape, into filter intakes or corner gaps in a planted aquascape. Three come carded on the pack, so a clogged stone is easy to replace.

Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for tight-clearance spots in freshwater and marine aquariums running a standard air pump – behind rockwork, wood or in narrow gaps. Not a substitute for mechanical or biological filtration, and not useful on its own without a pump.
Care and maintenance
Mineral airstones clog gradually as mineral deposits and biofilm build up, and the bubble stream coarsens as that happens. Because a slim stone tucked behind hardscape is harder to inspect at a glance, check it during routine tank maintenance rather than waiting for an obvious drop in bubble quality.
Goes well with
Needs an air pump sized to your tank and how many stones or ornaments it runs, plus airline tubing to connect them. A check valve fitted in the line stops water siphoning back into the pump during a power cut.
