Bioscape Moss Tree Stump w/Roots 20 x 15 x 14cm Large

An oversized moss-covered stump with exposed roots for large-format aquascapes. The Bioscape Moss Tree Stump w/Roots Large is a 20 × 15 × 14 cm non-toxic resin ornament styled as a fallen stump with a tangle of surface roots, built to give fish and shrimp several distinct hiding spots rather than one open cavity.

Key features
  • Exposed root detail – the root tangle creates several separate gaps and overhangs, not just one hollow.
  • Large format – at 20 × 15 × 14 cm it reads as a feature piece rather than a background accent.
  • Non-toxic resin – cast and finished to be safe in freshwater and marine setups.

Suitable for, and not suitable for

Suitable for freshwater and marine aquariums, and for planted or moss terrariums as a large hardscape feature. Not suitable for tanks too small to give it clearance – check your tank's footprint against the 20 × 15 cm base before ordering.

Care and maintenance

Rinse thoroughly under running water before placing it in the tank to remove any manufacturing dust or loose resin particles. It's inert and won't affect pH or water chemistry, and needs no soaking or curing before use.

Warranty and delivery

Covered against manufacturing defects under Bioscape's warranty, in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Common questions

Will it affect my water chemistry?

No – it's a non-toxic, inert resin and won't alter pH or hardness.

Does it need weighting down?

No. It sinks and sits on the substrate on its own for normal aquarium use.

How many fish can hide in it?

Bioscape doesn't publish a stocking guide for this piece – the root tangle offers several separate gaps, which suits a handful of small fish or shrimp sheltering at once rather than a single larger occupant.
