Bioscape Star Fighter 23.5 x 15.6cm
A crash-landed starship hull built for fish and shrimp to swim straight through. The Bioscape Star Fighter is a hand-finished, non-toxic resin aquarium ornament at 23.5 × 15.6 cm, styled as a downed spacecraft with layered hull panels and open tunnel sections running through the body.
Key features
- Tunnel-through hull — layered panel sections create several swim-through pathways rather than one hollow chamber, giving fish and shrimp more than a single entrance and exit.
- Hand-finished resin — cast and hand-painted, so texture and colour vary slightly piece to piece.
- Sci-fi silhouette — starship panelling and cockpit detailing for a themed aquascape, without relying on paint alone to read as a wreck.

Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for freshwater and marine aquariums wanting a sci-fi centrepiece with genuine swim-through tunnels for fish and shrimp. Not designed or finished as a reptile climbing or basking feature — it's an aquatic ornament, not a terrarium piece.
Care and maintenance
Rinse thoroughly under running water before adding it to the tank to clear any manufacturing dust or loose resin particles. No soaking or curing is required — it's inert and won't affect pH or water chemistry.
Warranty and delivery
Covered against manufacturing defects under Bioscape's warranty, in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Common questions
Will it affect my water chemistry?
No — it's a non-toxic, inert resin that doesn't alter pH or hardness.
Does it float or sink?
It sinks and sits in place on the substrate; no gluing or weighting down is needed for normal use.
Can fish actually swim through it?
Yes — the hull is moulded with open tunnel sections rather than a single hollow, so fish and shrimp can pass through rather than just hide behind it.
Is it reef safe?
Bioscape markets it as safe for both freshwater and marine setups, but as with any ornament in a sensitive reef system, rinse it well and introduce it gradually if you're being cautious.
