Bioscape UFO 14 x 14 x 10cm

A crash-landed flying saucer with a hollow underside fish can hide in. The Bioscape UFO is a cast resin ornament styled as a downed spacecraft, 14 × 14 × 10 cm, sized to sit as a feature piece or hideaway in a nano to mid-size aquarium.

Key features
  • Hollow underside — an open cavity beneath the saucer gives small fish and shrimp a shaded spot to retreat to.
  • Cast resin build — hand-finished, so texture and paint detail vary slightly piece to piece.
  • Sci-fi feature piece — a compact 14 × 14 × 10 cm footprint that reads as a centrepiece without dominating a smaller tank.

Suitable for, and not suitable for

Suitable for freshwater and marine aquariums, nano to mid-size tanks and aquascapes wanting a novelty feature piece. Not designed as a reptile or terrarium prop — it's built and finished as an aquatic ornament.

Care and maintenance

Rinse thoroughly under running water before adding it to the tank to clear manufacturing dust or loose resin particles. It's inert once rinsed and won't affect pH or water hardness.

Warranty and delivery

Covered against manufacturing defects under Bioscape's warranty, in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Common questions

Will it affect my water chemistry?

No — it's a non-toxic, inert resin that won't change pH or hardness.

Does it float or sink?

It sinks and sits in place on the substrate; no gluing or weighting is needed for normal use.

Is it reef safe?

Bioscape's resin ornament range is made safe for both freshwater and marine setups. As with any new ornament in a sensitive reef system, rinse it well and introduce it gradually if you're being cautious.

Will fish use the hiding space?

Yes — the hollow underside is sized for small to mid-size fish and shrimp looking for a shaded retreat.
