Bioscape Walker Carrier 31.5x25.5cm Large
Sized to anchor a tank on its own, not just fill a corner. The Bioscape Walker Carrier Large is a 31.5 x 25.5 cm cast-resin sci-fi wreck, hand-painted and safe for freshwater and marine aquariums. Where the Medium works as a supporting feature, this size is built to be the centrepiece – the piece the rest of the aquascape is arranged around.
Key features
- Cast in non-toxic resin – inert in water, safe for freshwater and marine tanks including reef systems.
- Larger hollow chassis – enough internal clearance for mid-sized fish to fully enter and turn around, not just poke a nose in.
- Hand-painted, weathered finish – individually detailed, so wear patterns vary piece to piece.
- Broad, stable base – the 31.5 x 25.5 cm footprint sits flat without silicone or bracing.
- Centrepiece scale – sized to be the focal point in tanks from roughly 150 L up.

Which size do I need?
The Walker Carrier also comes in a Medium, 20.5 x 17.5 cm size. Choose the Large where you want one ornament to carry the aquascape on its own; choose the Medium where it's one of several hardscape features sharing the space.
| Size | Dimensions | Best suited to |
|---|---|---|
| Medium | 20.5 x 17.5 cm | A mid-tank feature alongside other hardscape, tanks from roughly 60 L |
| Large | 31.5 x 25.5 cm | A standalone centrepiece, tanks from roughly 150 L |
Suitable for, and not suitable for
- Larger freshwater and marine aquariums wanting a single strong focal point
- Tanks from roughly 150 L, where the footprint has room to sit clear of the glass
Not ideal for nano and small tanks under about 90 cm, where a 31.5 cm ornament will overwhelm the available floor space, or for scapes intended to be entirely natural-material.
Goes well with
- Bioscape Walker Carrier Medium – pairs as a wreckage field when used together in a larger tank.
- Bioscape Web Figure – a smaller detail piece to break up the scale of the Large carrier.
Warranty and delivery

Common questions
Is the Large Walker Carrier big enough to be the only ornament in my tank?
Yes – at 31.5 x 25.5 cm it's designed to work as a standalone centrepiece, though it still pairs well with smaller detail pieces like the Web Figure.
Is it reef safe?
Yes. The resin is inert and non-toxic, so it's safe for marine and reef tanks as well as freshwater setups.
Do I need to rinse it before adding it to my tank?
Yes – rinse thoroughly under running water to clear any dust from moulding and shipping. Don't use soap or detergent.
Will it float?
No. Cast resin ornaments are solid and denser than water, so it sits on the substrate without weighting.
