Suitable for freshwater aquariums, reptile and amphibian enclosures, bioactive terrariums (planted enclosures with a living clean-up crew in the soil) and display vivariums. If you keep soft-water fish or shrimp, soak a piece in a bucket of tank water for a week and test pH and hardness before using the whole box. Not a matched set; sizes and shapes vary box to box.

Scrub and rinse in tap water before use. Build heavy stacks on the base of the tank rather than on top of loose substrate, and secure overhangs so digging animals cannot bring them down.
