Eco Tech Pineapple Cactus

Desert styling that never needs water. The Eco Tech Pineapple Cactus is an artificial cactus piece that adds arid, desert-style structure to a terrarium – a realistic-looking accent for species kept in dry or arid setups, without any of the care a real cactus needs.

Key features
  • Two sizes – 10 cm and 20 cm, to suit smaller enclosures or larger feature displays
  • Realistic pineapple cactus form – adds arid-terrain styling to desert and arid-biome setups
  • No care required – no light, water or soil to maintain, and no risk of a real cactus's spines
  • Wipes clean – simple to keep dust-free during enclosure maintenance

Suitable for, and not suitable for

Suited to arid and desert-biome terrariums as a styling and accent piece for species such as bearded dragons and other desert-adapted reptiles. It's decorative rather than functional cover – pair it with a proper hide for animals that need somewhere to retreat.

Goes well with

Pairs with sand or another arid-suited substrate underneath, and a rock or hide piece nearby so the enclosure isn't styling-only.

Warranty and delivery

Covered by your consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law. Ships as a standard parcel.

Common questions

Is this safe for reptiles to climb on or brush against?

Yes – unlike a real cactus, it has no spines that can injure your animal, so it's safe as a styling piece your reptile can be near or climb over.

Which size suits a standard bearded dragon enclosure?

Either works as an accent; 20 cm reads better as a centrepiece in larger enclosures, while 10 cm suits smaller setups or as one of several accents.

Does it need cleaning before use?

Rinse or wipe off any packaging dust before placing it in the enclosure.

Will the colour fade over time?

We don't have manufacturer data on long-term UV fade under basking lamps, so we can't say how this piece will hold up if your enclosure runs high-output UVB or heat lamps directly over it.
